Hello Everyone,

Nathan is 1 week old today. We’re celebrating 4 stable days of Nathan’s vitals.
I can’t begin to express how appreciative we are of everyone’s support.

Here are a couple of pics before he was connected to ECMO.

Please continue with your prayers as Nathan has a long road ahead of him.

We’re hope to bring him home next spring.

Feel free to share with anyone interested.

It’s wonderful to hear the positive news. He sure is a cutie-pie. Nathan, that is… Joel’s alright too, I guess. :)

Keeping them all in our prayers.

Nathan’s definitely a cutie… and a fighter. Today (Wednesday) they planned to begin weaning him off the ECMO (a sort of heart/lung machine) which is an important step for his treatment and recovery. Keep those thoughts and prayers coming–Nathan’s guardian angels are listening!

Hi, you don’t know me but I linked to your blog from BC. I frequently search BC for “diaphragmatic hernia” and your post on your birth board came up. I have a 2 yr old dd born with an undiagnosed right-sided CDH. If your friends are looking for some online support, there is a wonderful yahoo group called “Breath of Hope”. I know there are a few members from that area. We will be praying for Baby Nathan and wish him and his family all the best.
