Have I Mentioned, Baby Nathan Rocks?!
Great news continues from the Ziegler clan, who finally got to hold Baby Nathan! Keep those thoughts and prayers coming for continued great things for Nathan, his big brother David, and his loving parents, Joel and Michelle.

Subject: Nathan Update 10.23.2007Good Evening,More good news regarding Nathan’s recovery.Today (Tuesday) I was able to hold Nathan for the 1st time since he was born :-).
Michelle was able to hold him last night and rock him to sleep.

You’ll notice from the picture he sports a nasal cannula instead of the large ET tube.
He’ll most likely have the O2 support even after coming home, but it’s much less invasive than the previous treatment.A big thank you to everyone who gave blood and platelets for his treatment and surgery.His next surgery will not be until early next year and hopefully won’t need any blood products until then.We’re looking forward to bringing him home early next year instead of next spring are previously predicted.

His tummy needs to learn what to do with food before the doctors will repair his ostomy… etc.
