Sara turned 17 months old today!

A list of topic starters for when I set about writing this post –

• Height & weight (weight is approx. 24 lbs; about 4x her birth weight)
• Verbal skills
• Comprehension skills
• Creativity, imagination
• Empathy when someone, especially another child, is hurt/sad
• Activities, including much-improved confidence/comfort in water (pool, etc.)
• Follows simple directions with glee, when she’s in the mood.
• Can identify her basic body parts & ours (head, legs, feet, toes, hands, fingers, belly, hair, eyes, nose, ears, teeth, tongue
• Plays well with other children though she’s not around them a lot. Will hang at playground more as weather cools.
• Pretty good attention span if something interests her–Fraggle Rock, a song, etc.
• Still loves to dance and now sings occasionally, usually repeating her favorite word, “gigabyte”
