This is America: “One less day on my cruise? But I already f(@#*!@ing donated to the Red Cross, what more do you want from me ?!”

We have apparently put all of the free and the brave Americans on active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, leaving little more than the self-centered and racist, and many “good men [and women] who do nothing.” And I guess I’m most disgusted to know that I’m in the latter camp… all hand-wringing and no action beyond a token donation to feel a little better/more hopeful about the situation.

America — snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Mission Accomplished!
