Poor Timing
I was surfing CNN’s weather news when the following banner ad displayed:

First, I can’t think of what occasion one would ever be inclined to send this…
But with a Cat 5 hurricane named Rita bearing down on already hurricane-ravaged areas and the 4th largest city in the USA?! I guess someone at 1-800-Flowers.com thinks they’re being savvy marketers? Savvy wouldn’t be my choice of words, however.

I remember reading something on CNN on 9/11 (the very day, that is), and the story carried with it an ad for… yep… low jet fares, or something of the like.
I think their ad database is random, and not specifically tied to any stories – at least I certainly *hope* it’s not!
