Having a Blast!
We’ve been having a terrific time on our Washington, D.C. vacation, and we have been blessed with an abundance of good weather. Today was our first “rain day” so we spent most of it inside at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center and the visitor center at Great Falls National Park. We originally visited the Udvar-Hazy Center earlier in our vacation, but there’s so much to see we discovered new exhibits on today’s return trip.
We are pleased with how much we’ve accomplished on our “to see” list, and have a busy day planned for our last full day in our nation’s capital tomorrow.
Photos and short daily travelogues have been sent to our immediate family and a couple close friends. I’ll post information upon our return, since we haven’t spent much time online and there’s so much to share!
P.S. I just completed our fifth DVD backup of our photographs — it has been a productive and educational trip!
