I’m/we’re still not feeling well. My skull feels like it’s going to crack open like a nut in a nutcracker, and that almost sounds appealing since it would surely release some of this painful pressure!
Anyway, I wanted to at least document our Washington, D.C. trip’s destinations, in preparation for later posts sharing photos and experiences from the trip.

- National World War II Memorial (opened April 29, 2004)
- Lincoln Memorial
- Korean War Veterans Memorial
- Vietnam Veterans Memorial (”The Wall”)
- The White House (exterior only, viewed from Pennsylvania Avenue)

- Shenandoah National Park & the Appalachian Trail (obligatory 1/4 mile hike on the Trail)

- Smithsonian (National) Air & Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center (opened December 15, 2003)
