Rewinding my mental data tapes just long enough to jot down all the things I’ve failed to blog but have photos and/or anecdotes to share about:

* Our Washington, D.C. & environs trip — lots of photos that deserve sharing here, and {shuffling uncomfortably} also on our much-in-need-up-feeding photography website.

* Flying with Mom to Fredericksburg, TX for lunch at the Airport Diner and a quick tour of the Hangar Hotel (where Justin and I booked a couple nights for our upcoming 7-year wedding anniversary / 17 years together [can we really already be old enough to say that... yikes!]

* Attending the 75th anniversary Randolph AFB airshow last weekend with Justin and his cousin, Joey. The USAF Thunderbirds, and much more…

* 9+ mile mountain bike ride with Justin this morning at McAllister Park near the San Antonio International Airport (SAT), after too long a hiatus from my ass sitting on a mountain bike seat (and the accompanying too much time with my ass sitting in a computer chair). Hitting a 23.9 mile per hour sprint (yes, with a downhill aiding me — who do you think I am, Lance Armstrong?!) today on a 20mph street, and showing Justin how much more fun winding, smooth singletrack is when taken at full speed.

* Hosting an impromptu “Star Wars (Episode III) Party” for my parents and brother tonight at our house, after far too many impromptu visits on my part to their house for conversation, company and home cooking. Justin, my brother Tom, cousin Joey and I all saw it when it came out, but this will be my parents’ first viewing — woot!

* I’m sure there’s a couple other things, but as you can see I’m far enough behind that this will take awhile as it is!
