Geek Habitat

My birthday present arrives sometime today via UPS, so I’ve been camped inside the house awaiting the telltale engine hum and brake squeaks of an approaching UPS truck that has yet to arrive.

I’ve had a nasty sore throat since late last night, thanks to atypically (even for me) bad allergies. I’m pretty useless today, and am surfing and importing CD’s to iTunes.

I wandered downstairs earlier (thought I’d heard the UPS truck), and ended up brewing some Earl Grey on our new Tassimo ‘pod. That led me back upstairs to Google for an MP3 of Jean Luc Picard saying, “Tea, Earl Grey, hot.” Which led me to Google “star trek MP3s” for fun sound bites, but turned up everything from several Swedish(?) techno mix Star Trek MP3s (not v.good) to several short but cute Star Trek: Voyager blooper clips. Which of course led me to Google “star trek bloopers” for more gems.
