… Because staring at our happy, shining faces for more than a couple days is over the top, even for me!

Nothing much going on here. Brief recap:
I renewed my driver’s license on Tuesday, since I was encountering more and more police vehicles on the roadways with each successive day past my license’s expiry date (12-28-05). I kept having flashbacks to my speeding ticket, mentally factoring in the additional fine for having an expired license. Ouch! Anyway, I’m good ’til 2011 now… something about that sounds awfully weird. 2011? Ah… 2010: The Year We Make Contact. (Not sure I’ve ever seen that. So much for my geekhood…)

The 17″ LCD I received for my birthday is on its way back to Dell; its replacement proves to be much better (no more grotesquely green-tinted tans and grays, thank God!) You gotta love Dell’s replacement policy — it’s as hassle free as Amazon’s, perhaps moreso since your return package is picked up at your doorstep!
