God, what have I started!? 
For those who are lost (like Justin was), the origin of this meme* was:
- V posts a humorous anecdote regarding granny panties, here.
- After staring at “granny panties” at the top of her blog and RSS feed for days, she posts a Happy New Year entry, to which friends comment, “granny panties!”
- In my comment, I invoke the Google bomb.
- A mutual friend takes the bait, linking the phrase “granny panties” back to V’s website.
- Proving paybacks are a bitch, I link granny panties back to our mutual friend’s website, and shortly thereafter, V does the same.
*If this were a REAL meme, it wouldn’t have to be explained.
