Had another Toyota Prius sighting today, this time with Justin in the driver’s seat of our ‘06 Ford Escape Hybrid. We were on the 1604 access road turnaround over Hwy. 281, heading back home after visiting Justin’s parents in Hollywood Park. Unless it was just a trick of light, it was a different Prius than I followed home on Thursday.

If I keep seeing a hybrid-a-day here in San Antonio, I’ll have to start a “life list” of hybrid sightings, like hard-core birders have life lists of bird species they’ve viewed. So far, it’s pretty sparse:

• Ford Escape Hybrid: 1 — ours
• Toyota Prius (plural is… Prii?) — 2
• Ford Taurus FFV — 1

Sorry, that’s about the extent of my braincells for this evening.
