The single most American thing each of us can do is exercise our freedom to think for ourselves and evaluate the news filtered to us through the sometimes reliable (sometimes NOT reliable) sources! As a side-note, I may have to start my own blog! I am finding that "empty-nest syndrome" is not the biggest challenge I face. Rather, it is facing the fact that my children are well past the age when I could calm their worries and help them feel secure in this challenging world by uttering a reassuring, "It will be alright." ! Rant on, Shan!!! (Read “Right on, Shan!!)
