Something That Actually MATTERS
Amid all my grousing about the horrific service I received at Northside Ford in San Antonio, Texas, it’s time for me to take a moment to talk about something that actually MATTERS:
Little Sammy, Erika and Jay’s baby boy who was born with congenital heart defects and underwent the first of three surgeries at just four days’ old, is today undergoing surgery #2. Please send love, kind thoughts, prayers and good vibes to the ‘Snazzy Family’. They are beautiful and an inspiration and a reminder to us all of what really matters… family and loved ones.

Will they adopt me? I wanna be part of The Snazzy Family.
(Just kidding. I love my own family excessively.)

Ditto on all counts, but I think they’d welcome as many “virtual family” members as they can get., especially with baby Sammy going through all these surgeries to correct his congenital heart defect. I consider the Snazzy family part of my “virtual family,” as I do Rob, Dana and Schuyler of My Beloved Monster & Me.
In this world, I think we could all use a few “virtual family” members.
P.S. Kudos on the new job and relocation back to your old stomping grounds, and I presume also closer to your family. That’s worth a lot in my book — Justin and I both have the rare and wonderful gift of living near both sets of our parents, as well as reasonably close to all of our siblings.
