Another San Antonio Hybrid Owner!

Congratulations, Pam, on your new Toyota Prius!

That makes three gals, including myself, who used to work together and who all went the hybrid route. WOOT! :D

Time to track that fuel economy on GreenHybrid’s Real Mileage Database. Mine’s shown at the top of GeekHabitat.com. Needless to say, it’s going to take a lot more tanks before the roadtrip to/from Dallas (headwind both ways, I swear!) and the summer heat are trounced by my more fuel efficient driving habits I’ve been learning. I’ve had a few tanks surpass EPA estimates, and the 59 MPG trip of 2.7 miles that I have yet to beat, so I know it’s got EPA and better in its future.

Anyway, kudos to Pam on a wonderful, fuel-sipping new car!

    * envy * Totally did not know Pam got a Prius. I may get one after the kids go to college. One’s almost 4 and the other is 5 months.

Sounds like a plan, Lee! By then, we’ll have flux capacitors and banana peel fuel cells… no more fossil fuels!

    (One can dream.)

Actually, we will have the ability to create new dinosaurs and plants from recovered ancient DNA, advance the growth and death process to just a few minutes, and simulated pressure+heat+millinea needed to create new fossil fuels all in a compact fuel processor. Go Gasoline!

I wonder… maybe it was a delayed reaction to something in the water. Instead of having children, we got cars. I think we got the better end of the deal.
