Much-Belated Photos
Photos from Mom and Dad’s 39th wedding anniversary, celebrated at the Hangar Hotel in Fredericksburg, Texas. The Hangar Hotel and Airport Diner are located on the field at Gillespie County Airport, so Justin and I flew in on Saturday, July 22, 2006, to treat Mom & Dad to an anniversary breakfast. All of the photos were taken by Justin, my ever-talented husband and partner in crime.
I’ll let Justin post the “mirror image” versions of these photos, which Mom and Dad took from the balcony of the Hangar Hotel as we approached, landed and later did a short-field takeoff to depart back to San Antonio International Airport.

Thanks again to both of you for the great “tip” (lodging at the Hanger Hotel), our anniversary breakfast and the bragging rights. LOL! It was great fun to stand on the upper observation deck of the hotel with another couple (and their mobile receiver) nearby, and casually remark “Oh, that’s Justin!” when his landing advisory came over the airways:-)
