First Female Space Tourist
Anousheh Ansari — Female Space Tourist
If her name sounds familiar, you’re right on the money. She is the chairwoman of the board of the company which sponsored the Ansari X Prize.
Ahhhh… I wish I were in her shoes (boots)!

Anousheh is going to make some interesting space history over the next 36-months or so not by just being the first female space tourist. She is also a pioneering spirit helping to finance the construction of a fleet of suborbital space tourist vehicles to begin launching in 2008 along with at least two spaceports around the globe. Here space flight motto is very impressive: “Imagine, Inspire, Be the Change!”

Let’s cheer her onward and upward not only next month but over the next few years. Her life story is rather amazing coming to America as a non-English speaking teenager from Tehran to subsequrntly graduate from George Mason University and George Washington University in computer science and electrical engineering then make millions of dollars!
