Space Shuttle Atlantis (STS-115) is scheduled to launch on Wednesday, September 6 at 12:29 p.m. EDT (11:29 p.m. CST). Failing that, there are launch opportunities on both September 7 and September 8.

P.S. The Shuttle may not be in orbit yet, but these guys were a lot closer than most — they travelled into the stratosphere in a glider!
