My use of Twitter is casual, though I go through periods where I am quite active on it. Most notably, I’ve been using Twitter.com to share information about hybrids and counter disinformation about hybrids. My frequent hybrid-related tweets apparently annoy a vocal few who I guess followed me in the hopes I’d tweet about diapers, McDreamy or shopping (not that there’s anything wrong with these things, unless all three are in the same context! Ewww…)  Perhaps they missed the part of the definition of geek that grants we are sometimes annoying in our obsessive interest in technology or other arcana? They should be thrilled I’m at least not biting the head off a live chicken, right? (See definition again before calling 911 on me.)

Don’t give up, if you really have your sights set on one, however –

• Sweeeet. A 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid *just like ours* got 15 bids & got up to $18k before the eBay auction ended. Didn’t meet reserve. Someone was trying to cash in! That’s well over what we still owe on ours. And ours has lower mileage. And no, we’re not selling.

Sorry for the continued lack of substantive blog entries. I’ll get a grip on posting updates again at some point. In the meantime, here’s a video montage of some VERY LUCKY PEOPLE!

Dunno why Twitter Tools still hates me. So no magical tweets inserted into my blogs. Which means no blog updates.

Don’t leave. You are in the right place. This is still GeekHabitat. I had to revert to one of the standard template sets for WordPress because something as-yet unknown in my customized template was keeping Twitter Tools from working.

Twitter Tools is now working, sort of {edit: it’s broken again…) It showed a few tweets I posted yesterday as having originated today, but anyway, I’m on the right track so I’ll leave this template set up until I can fiddle some more.
